Location & Parking Map for Downtown Albany

Parking for The Yard is available in many areas, as indicated in yellow. The large parking lot across the street is open to the public and is managed by the First Church of Albany; they do charge a small fee for use of the lot. Public parking streetside is available on Sheridan Ave., Columbia St., Orange St., Monroe St., and North Pearl St.; streetside parking is free on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays. We encourage our guests to arrive approximately 30 minutes early to ensure ample time to find parking before any reservation.

“A ton of fun. They were able to have a group of 5 of us drop in for about an hour. We got a quick tutorial on axe throwing with the various tools and then we were left to do it ourselves with periodic checkins make sure it was going good. The boozy moos served there was also fun. I was able to get a flight of the ice creams and try a couple of different flavors. Would totally go again.”

“The Yard was the perfect choice for our company outing! Our entire team (48 people!) loved the games, atmosphere and staff. Our hosts Leyla and Brianna were gracious from planning our event, to the day of execution. It was wonderful to have The Yard all to ourselves, I highly recommend renting the entire space! Our team absolutely loved the axe throwing and yard games. We ordered a delicious charcuterie and veggie board, and enjoyed cocktails from the bar. Even the music was fabulous. Thank you all, for an amazing time. We will certainly be back for more fun!”

Great people in a great environment! I’d never thrown axes before but they made it a great experience and easy to understand. Travelled up from the south to visit people and came here for an afternoon; we’ll be making it an annual tradition now.

I can’t say more good things about The Yard and the team here. I’ve never planned a birthday party before but they went above and beyond to make this surprise birthday everything I hoped for and more. The event planning was seamless and the event coordinators were so great to work with. All the guests, and especially the guest of honor, had a great time. Again I can’t thank The Yard for making this a great experience. Will definitely be back and recommended this to everyone!

I only had the ice cream, but I absolutely loved it. The woman working behind the bar was very kind, patient, and helpful. The options were extensive so I ended up with 2 different flavors one of which was dark chocolate and it was delightful! A little pricey for the size but where else can you get boozy ice cream? Also loved the swings!

Come for the axes, stay for the boozy ice cream! We were really impressed with the space here and how well they ensured everyone's safety (both from COVID and flying axes). Definitely recommended for anyone interested in throwing axes or trying some of the homemade delicious, liquor-infused ice cream.
